New Year’s Resolutions
With the new year just around the corner, it’s time to start deciding on your resolutions. Do you have a goal to lose weight? Or maybe you’ve decided that 2017 is the year you’ll finally tackle a home project, eat healthier, spend less and save more, or learn a new skill. Well there are some great things you can resolve to do for your family as well, things that can help bring sanity back to the place that needs it the most.
One of the first place to start that we have a bit of experience in is with chores. ChoreMonster continues to be a great tool that helps homes find a system where everyone contributes to the peace and cleanliness of the home. If you aren’t already using ChoreMonster in your house, the new year is as good of a time to start as any. Your kids will really beg to do their chores with the motivation of rewards and an easy to use, fun app cheering them along throughout.
Of course, ChoreMonster is much easier to use thanks to Mothershp, an app we released earlier this year for parents to quickly and easily create scheduled chores with point values for your teens and young kids. When your child says they’re done, you approve and they get the points. It works great with our teen app Landra as well, which was another great new addition for us in 2016.
And finally, here are some great parenting articles that we published this year on FamilyTech.com that might tie into a family resolution for you and yours.
