Family Movies Coming To Netflix November 2017

Every month, streaming services like Netflix say goodbye to loads of movies and television and add a slew of new options for subscribers. Here at FamilyTech, we take a look at the incoming films and pick some that look like a good fit for family viewing. And you know this already, but keep it age appropriate, just like you would with the chores you dole out. Here are some choices for November 2017.

The Boss Baby (2017)
Rating: PG
IMDB Parent’s Guide

This one is hitting Netflix only 6 months after being on the big screen. The animated hit features a suit-wearing, briefcase-carrying baby that pairs up with his 7-year old brother to stop the dastardly plot of the CEO of Puppy Co. Fun for the whole family.

Casper
(1995)
Rating: PG
IMDB Parent’s Guide

Casper The Friendly Ghost is a legendary animated character. In 1995, his story received a modern update with this film. It profiles a paranormal expert and his daughter who bunk in an abandoned house populated by three mischievous ghosts and one friendly one.

42 (2013)
Rating: PG-13
IMDB Parent’s Guide

The story of Jackie Robinson breaking baseball’s color barrier is one that will be told for generations. This film does a great job detailing the events and can be a great lesson for kids, whether they are baseball fans or not.

Field of Dreams (1989)
Rating: PG
IMDB Parent’s Guide

The baseball season may be over in November, but that doesn’t mean your family can’t fit in this classic film. Possibly the best baseball movie ever, Field of Dreams is the story of an Iowa corn farmer who hears voices and interprets them as a command to build a baseball diamond in his fields. When he does, magic happens.

Men In Black (1997)
Rating: PG-13
IMDB Parent’s Guide

As fun as you remember it, Men In Black is back on Netflix in November. Just in case you don’t know, it’s the story of a police officer that joins a secret organization that polices and monitors extraterrestrial interactions on Earth. It’s a great film for the family if your kids are ready.
