Every month, streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime say goodbye to loads of movies and television and add a slew of new options for subscribers. Here at FamilyTech, we take a look at the incoming films and pick some that look like a good fit for family viewing. And you know this already, but keep it age appropriate, just like you would with the chores you dole out. Here are some choices for July 2017.
Madagascar 2: Escape 2 Africa (2008)
The animals try to fly back to New York City but crash-land on an African wildlife refuge, where Alex is reunited with his parents. Looks like an easy choice for family night.
Agent Cody Banks (2003)
A government agent trains Cody Banks in the ways of covert operations that require younger participants.
The Water Horse (2007)
A lonely boy discovers a mysterious egg that hatches a sea creature of Scottish legend. This underrated family film deserves another watch or the first watch with your crew.
Rogue One- A Star Wars Story (2016)
If for some reason you missed out on this fantastic Star Wars film last year, or just have been itching to watch it again, it’s coming to Netflix in July. The prequel centers around the Rebel Alliance’s attempt to steal the plans for the Death Star, setting up the epic saga to follow.
